We want people who can show us that it is OKAY to be honest with each other when they have strong emotions, even if it isn’t easy at first! Doing this kind of thing takes practice. So if we wish for others to talk about their feelings with us, we need also learn how to talk about our own (even though what comes out of our mouths may not be anything very exciting!)
