Have you ever felt like time is going by too fast? You’ll be doing something and suddenly it will feel like an hour has passed by, or perhaps you’ll have just woken up from a nap and you can’t believe that another whole day has gone by. Are there any explanations for this odd phenomenon? Yes! It is called the ‘Fission of Time’, which basically means that time feels shorter because our days are getting shorter. But why does this happen and what does it mean? Read on to find out more about why the days are going by faster and fast.

Why are the days going by so fast?

There are many reasons why the days can seem to be passing by quickly, but the main one is probably that we are not taking the time to enjoy them. We tend to rush from one appointment to the next, barely taking the time to appreciate everything that is going on around us, and before we know it, another day has passed us by. If we want to slow down time, we need to learn how to relax and appreciate the little things in life.

What Is The Reason The Days Going By So Fast?

    1. The earth is getting older

The Earth is getting older and the days are passing by faster because of this. The Earth is 4.5 billion years old, and it takes a long time for such a large object to reach its present age. However, the Earth is not the only thing that’s aging; we are, too! Our cells are dying at an ever-increasing rate and our bodies are getting weaker as time goes by. This means that we’ll be feeling weaker as we get older and our minds will probably be more susceptible to diseases as well.

    2. The length of our days is decreasing

The length of our days has declined over time due to the fact that sunlight has decreased in intensity from when we were young children compared to now when we’re adults and even older people. In fact, many people believe that the sun has lost about 93% of its strength since the end of the Ice Age around 12000 years ago (see the diagram below).

    3. We are living longer than ever

The length of our lives has increased drastically over the centuries, and it’s not uncommon for people to live well beyond 100 years of age. In fact, life expectancy has increased by about 15 years since 1900. This means that we’ll have more time to enjoy our lives and we’ll have more time to do the things that make us happy.

    4. We are moving faster than ever

The Earth is constantly rotating around the sun, and this means that it’s moving at a much faster speed than it used to. The Earth has been speeding up over the past century and this is why the days are going by so fast.

    5. We are getting older

We’re getting older because we live longer than ever before. This means that our cells have passed their prime and we’re no longer as healthy as we used to be when we were younger. Our bodies are deteriorating and our minds are becoming more feeble with time, meaning that we’ll be less capable of doing things that used to be easy for us in the past (for example, playing a sport or singing a song).

    6. We are becoming lazier than ever

We live in an age of convenience where you can order anything online and have it delivered to your door within minutes, but this also makes us lazy. We’re all so used to having everything delivered to us that we don’t have to do anything for ourselves – we just order it, and it arrives ready for us to use. This means that we have less time for the things that are important to us and, in fact, we may even be less inclined to do them because they don’t require any effort on our part.

    7. We are becoming more superficial than ever

The Internet has made us more superficial than ever before; people are constantly looking at other people’s lives on social media platforms and they get obsessed with them. They can learn a lot about other people by looking at their photos and reading their tweets or Facebook posts, but this doesn’t mean that they want to be like them – it just makes them want things: clothes, cars, houses, etc.

    8. We are becoming more distracted than ever

We’re constantly being bombarded with messages and notifications on our phones, be it from Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp, or Snapchat. We’re not even able to focus on the things that we need to do because we’re constantly distracted by all of the new things that are happening around us.

    9. We are consuming more than ever

We’re consuming more than ever before and this means that we’re buying more things than we used to. We’re buying food, drinks, cosmetics and so much more – you name it and there’s a product for sale somewhere.

    10. We are getting less sleep than ever before

We get less sleep these days because of all of the things that we have in our lives: work, school, and social media platforms like Facebook and Instagram – they keep us up at night! This is why people are sleeping less these days – they just don’t have time for it!

Advantages Of The Days Going By So Fast

    1. We are better off than ever before

We’re better off in every way. We’re getting healthier, we have more opportunities, and we have more money. In fact, we’ve never been so well off as we are now!

    2. Everything is easier than ever

We don’t have to do a lot of things these days; everything is so easy that we can just order it online and it comes right to our door in a matter of minutes. This means that the things that used to be hard for us are now easy for us (for example, playing sports or singing songs), because everything is so accessible – there’s no need for us to do anything!

    3. Our lives are full of distractions

Social media platforms like Facebook and Instagram keep us up at night with all of the notifications that they send out – this means that there’s always something going on in our lives and this distracts us from everything that we need to do.

    4. We’re always on the go

We’re always on the go because of the fact that we’re constantly distracted by the things that we have to do. We’re always busy, and if there is something that needs doing then it becomes a distraction because we don’t have time to focus on it – this is why we never have time for anything!

Disadvantages Of The Days Going By So Fast

    1. We miss out on the good things

We don’t have time to relax, we don’t have time to just sit down and enjoy our time. Everything is so busy that we can’t stop and just appreciate the beauty of the world around us.

    2. We can never get enough sleep

Sleep is one of those things that we need to do in order for us to be able to function properly, but this isn’t something that we can do when there are so many distractions going on in our lives.

    3. We become stressed out because of everything

Stress destroys our body, so if we live like this then it means that we’re going to end up getting sick very quickly – stress is something that causes a lot of health problems for us!

    4. We have no personal space

We don’t have any personal space because there are always new people around us, which means that they’re always invading our personal space and this makes us feel very uncomfortable.

    Conclusion

As the Earth is slowing down its rotational velocity due to tidal forces, the length of a day is getting less and less. This is the main reason why time feels like it’s going by faster. The length of a year is also getting less due to the orbit of the Earth around the Sun. All these factors add up to the fission of time, causing the days to go by faster.
